Hydro-Stick is an aftermarket Fuel Enhancement System designed and manufactured by Alternative Propulsions. It can be fitted to most internal combustion engines, petrol or diesel, to increase fuel economy and reduce harmful emissions.

In simple terms, a Hydro-Stick system consists of a fuel cell filled with water and electrolyte. When the engine is running, a curent passes though electrodes in each cell; electrolysis takes place and hydrogen is released (in HHO gas) which is chanelled directly into the engine via the air intake. This provides an extra fuel source - which burns with zero emissions. The hydrogen also causes the primary fuel (petrol or diesel) to be burned more completely, resulting in a much cleaner exhaust from the engine.

Hydro-Stick units can be fitted to almost any vehicle - petrol or diesel. Without exception, they will all show improvements in economy, and they will all show significant reductions in harmful emissions.

Actual percentage improvements will vary from vehicle to vehicle, but we are happy to quote 25% increase in mpg and 40% reduction in emissions as being representative of the improvements most drivers can expect. Some vehicles have exceeded these figures significantly.
